Format Text in Your Portfolio Entries

Whenever you edit a Description area or create a page, you will see the rich text editor. This editor includes a row of icons that will enable you to format text; the editor works in a similar way to standard word processing programs; click the formatting icon before you enter text, or select existing text that you wish to edit and then click the icon to produce the desired effect.

From left to right, the icons are:

  • Bold
  • Italicize
  • Subscript
  • Superscript
  • Numbered List
  • Bullet List
  • Left Justify
  • Center Justify
  • Right Justify
  • Full Justify
  • Decrease Indent
  • Increase Indent
  • Add Hyperlink
  • Remove Hyperlink
  • Add Image
  • Paste From Word

Please note that for the best formatting results, we recommend entering text directly into the editor. Copying directly from a Microsoft Word document often causes undesired formatting to be included with your text; you can use the “Paste From Word” button, but this often has mixed results.
