Change the Name of a Standing Committee
The instructions below are for editing the name of a standing committee in Interfolio Review, Promotion, & Tenure. Note that from the same screen, you can also set or change the unit of a committee, add or remove members, and delete the committee fro the program. These changes are permanent when made from the User & Group Management page. You can also edit a standing committee, including adding members and appointing Committee Managers, when creating or editing case review steps, but those changes are temporary to that step. Permanent changes to standing committees should be made from the User & Group Management page.
Click on "User & Group Management" in the navigation menu to the top right
Click the "Committees" tab
Locate the committee you want to edit and click the edit pencil icon
Edit the committee
From the "Edit Committee" screen you can...
- Edit the committee name or unit
- Add or remove committee members, or appoint a Committee Manager
- Delete the committee
Note: The option to delete the committee will only appear if the committee is not in use
