Change the Name of a Standing Committee

The instructions below are for editing the name of a standing committee in Interfolio Review, Promotion, & Tenure. Note that from the same screen, you can also set or change the unit of a committee, add or remove members, and delete the committee fro the program. These changes are permanent when made from the User & Group Management page. You can also edit a standing committee, including adding members and appointing Committee Managers, when creating or editing case review steps, but those changes are temporary to that step. Permanent changes to standing committees should be made from the User & Group Management page.

Log in to Interfolio and navigate to your institutional account

You may need to open the account switcher in the right hand user menu and select to switch to your institutional account.

Select "Users and Groups" under the Review, Promotion & Tenure section of the left hand navigation menu

On your Promotion & Tenure dashboard, click "Manage," and select "Users and Groups" from the dropdown menu

Click the "Committees" tab

Click the "Committees" tab

Locate the committee you want to edit and click the edit pencil

Locate the committee you want to edit and click the edit pencil

Rename the committee and click to update
