Support Accounts: Access Settings Faculty Picker

(Access Settings must be activated for your institution by DATA180. If you would like this feature activated, please contact us.)

Support accounts (formerly staff accounts) are now available in the Access Settings faculty picker for proxy users. This enables faculty members to select an individual with a support account to be a proxy user on their account

To assign a proxy user to your faculty account, do the following:

  1. On the Faculty menu, click Access Settings. The Access Settings screen displays.  
  1. • Access Granted to My Account: Displays faculty members who are currently a proxy user on your faculty account. 
  2. • Accounts I Can Access: Displays faculty accounts that you have proxy access to. 
  1. In the Access Granted to My Account section, click Add. The Add Access dialog box opens.  
  2. Select the faculty to whom you wish to assign proxy access. All active faculty accounts are available.  
  3. Specify the expiration date for the proxy access in the Expiry Date field.
  4. When you are finished, click Save

Custom Dashboard Messages: send dashboard messages as e-mail messages

Administrators now have the option of sending an e-mail message when posting custom messages on the dashboard.

  1. On the Admin menu, click Communication.
  2. In the Dashboard Messages section, click Custom Message.
  3. Select the Also Send as Email check box to send an e-mail message to the selected faculty members, in addition to posting a message on their dashboard.

Profile Form: new degrees added

The following degrees are now available in the Profile Form:

  • B.S.E. - Bachelor of Science in Education
  • M.S.E. - Master of Science in Education

Evaluations: administrative rights to view all evaluation results for faculty members

An option has been added to the Access to Results section in the Evaluations screen that allows administrators to view all evaluation results for a faculty member, regardless of which units a faculty member has assignments in. This is helpful if a faculty member has a secondary assignment in a unit that the administrator does not have administrative rights for.

  1. On the Admin menu, click Administration.
  2. In the Evaluations section, click Evaluations.
  3. Edit an existing evaluation or add a new evaluation.
  4. Click Allow or Restrict for the following options:
  1. • Evaluation can be viewed in evaluation reports with respect to Units
  2. • Evaluation can be viewed in evaluation reports with respect to Faculty
  1. When you are finished, click Save.
