Case Types: Use Interfolio for Promotions, Reviews, Appointments, Tenure Cases, and More

When creating a new case or a new template, you must mark it as one of seven case types:

  • Appointment
  • Promotion
  • Reappointment
  • Review
  • Sabbatical
  • Tenure
  • Other

You can also retroactively apply a case type to an existing case via the “Edit Case” or “Edit Template” page, but you are not required to apply a case type to existing cases.

Case types are selected when creating or editing a case or template

1. Select a case type from the dropdown menu and click "Update"

2. Click "Update" to set or change the case type
