Interfolio Data Services Known Issues (2020.08.11)
Users will not be allowed to edit authorship in IDS. Once a user has saved a record, they can go into F180 and change the authorship (or anything else).
The list of authors/contributors may not appear in order. We have worked as a team to fix this issue, but there will be times when the order is not correct. This will most likely occur when the authors have the same last name and same first initial (i.e., Jane Smith and John Smith). Users will have to accept and save the record and then change it in F180.
When a user accepts an IDS record, a task will show up on the home page informing them to fill out more information about the record (i.e., the activity classifications).
Users can edit records in IDS once, subsequent edits must occur in F180:
Users will have one opportunity to edit their records one in IDS. At the end of the process of entering and accepting a record, the user has a chance to edit the record, but once entered, subsequent edits must occur in F180 using the provided buttons that deeplink into the program.
Deleting accepted records is done in F180:
If a user accepts an IDS record and then wants to delete it, they must do that in F180 using the provided buttons that deeplink into the program.
