Coming May 2018 - Improved list appearance and filtering in Faculty Search and in Review, Promotion & Tenure

Planned for early May, we will be introducing some improvements that any administrative and committee users at your institution may notice, affecting the following two pages:
- The list of positions in Interfolio Faculty Search
- The list of cases in Interfolio Review, Promotion & Tenure (minimal)
This release will include the following improvements:
List retains filter settings throughout a user session
Both Faculty Search and Review, Promotion & Tenure
We will be improving the filtering and searching interface so it retains your most recent list filter settings within that particular list.
In other words, when you apply a bunch of settings to filter either the positions list or case list, the system will keep those settings until you either change them or log out so you don't have to re-do all your filtering, searching, or sorting, each time you return to the list.
Filter list separately by type and status
If you use the Faculty Search module, we will be replacing the current single “Filter” dropdown list with the option to filter the positions list down by type and by status.
Specifically, you will now have three separate dropdown menus:
- Filter by position type (Faculty, Fellowship, or Staff)
- Filter by position status (customized to your institution and/or a specific academic unit)
- Filter by only active positions or closed positions
