e-Learning Training Courses

Our e-learning training courses are self-paced, interactive, and specific to your role within the module you are using. Each course will guide you through the basic functions of the module and how to complete specific tasks.

Please keep in mind that these e-learning courses are made to serve as generic training for the module, but may differ slightly from the configurations and practices set up at your institution.

  • Faculty Activity Reporting Unit Administrator Training

    This self-paced, interactive course covers many of the basic features and permissions for Unit Administrators such as creating a vita template, initiating and approving faculty input, running reports, emulating faculty accounts, and the faculty experience using Faculty Activity Reporting.

  • Faculty Activity Reporting for Faculty Members


    This self-paced interactive course steps faculty members through the process of inputting profile and activity data, reviewing duplicates from an activity import, searching for colleagues, and granting account access to other users.

    A self-paced, interactive course that steps support accounts through the process of emulating a faculty account, and inputting profile and activity data on behalf of a faculty member.

  • Interfolio Data Service Training


    A quick, interactive course that provides an overview of the Interfolio Data Service, a quick simulation to demonstrate how you can edit, approve, or delete matched records and FAQs and additional resources you can reference for support.

  • Maintaining Data Integrity in FAR

    In this course, you will learn in more detail the tools you need in order to ensure that your institution’s FAR data integrity is maintained well into the future. We’ll focus on the various data types supported by Interfolio within FAR as well as methods and best practices for successfully loading and troubleshooting your data.

Join our Client Services Office Hours

Interfolio Office Hours are a dedicated time for our partner institutions to spend time with members of the Interfolio Client Services team to get help troubleshooting issues, ask questions, receive guidance, and meet with other Interfolio customers. Each office hour session focuses on Faculty Search/Lifecycle Management or Faculty Activity Reporting/Review, Promotion & Tenure but attendees are welcome to come and ask questions about any of the Interfolio products! Office hours are hosted every Thursday from 2:30-3:15 Eastern time.

  • Virtual Training

    Virtual training sessions can be purchased individually or in packages. Training sessions are geared towards a specific user type and can be customized to meet your specific organizational need.

    Training packages include a pre-training meeting with an Interfolio Trainer, virtual session(s) scheduled at mutually agreed upon times and follow up materials including a training kit and a recording of the training.

  • Onsite Training

    (CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE)

    One of our Interfolio trainers will travel to you to host onsite training on your campus.

    Onsite training sessions can be purchased individually or in packages (by day). Training sessions are geared towards a specific user type and can be customized to meet your specific organizational needs.
