Faculty Activity Reporting Release Notes 2023.10.03

Reverse Chronological Sorting for single-term activity sections (Fixed):

When a faculty member generates a vita, activities with only a start term are displayed in reverse chronological order based on that term value. This applies to single-term activity sections. Activities with a start and end term will be sorted on the vita in reverse chronological order based on the end term.

If the date is ongoing, that’s considered the most recent event. This applies to institutional, personal, and RPT vitas.

Reverse Chronological Sorting for Grants and Scholarships (Fixed):

When a faculty member is generating a vita, the scholarship is displayed in reverse chronological order by default. This fixes an issue where the order of activities was being ordered alphabetically by author. Scholarly activities and grants will be sorted on the vita in reverse chronological order based on Status Term. If the end date is ongoing, that’s considered the most recent. Existing Vita templates will be affected such that they are default sorted reverse chronologically. Vitas generated in the past (i.e., prior to the start of this work) will not be impacted. Moving forward, Vitas generated from existing templates after the completion of this work will respect the settings of the template (default is reverse chron unless otherwise specified in the template). This applies to institutional, personal, and RPT vitas.
