About the Faculty List

The faculty list gives users a clear and accurate overview of faculty status and activities within the institution. Administrative users have the option to filter by unit, series, rank type, and event status. Take actions, individually or in bulk, directly from the list to streamline administrative processes, reduce errors, and simplify faculty advancement workflows. From the list you can also access individual faculty profile pages to view contact details, appointment information, and a professional journey timeline.

 

Faculty List

  1. Navigate to the Faculty page from the navigation menu to access the Faculty List.

    Faculty members are not directly associated with units. Instead, the unit is linked to the faculty member through their assigned appointment.

     

    Filter Faculty List

    Click the Filter button next to the search bar to open a drawer on the right-hand side, where you can apply filters to refine the list. Available filters include Unit, Series (e.g., Research Professor or Clinical Practice), Rank Type, Current Event Type, Upcoming Event Type, Event Type, and the status of both current and previous faculty members.

    Since appointments (not faculty members), are tied to specific units, the ‘Unit’ filter identifies faculty members who have had appointments associated with the selected unit.

  2. Click the hyperlinked name of a faculty member to navigate to their profile page.

FAQs

How do I select ALL faculty profiles at once?

Checking the box next to the ‘Faculty Member’ header will only select the listed faculty members on the current page. To select all profiles across all pages, click the Select all [#] profiles on all pages hyperlink that appears at the top of the list after you check the header box.

Can I make changes to a historical event?

No, but you can add notes or attach files to the event when viewing the event.
