Configure Standard Vita Report
The Standard Vita Report generates vitas for selected faculty members, which can be exported to print, Word, or PDF. Access depends on user permissions; for example, provosts may access all reports at the university level and below, while dean access might be limited to their colleges.
Configure Standard Vita Report
- Navigate to the Reports page under Administration and click Standard Vitas under the Administrative Reports section.
- Click the hyperlinked number for the relevant unit to view a list of individual vitas within that unit.

You can view or export individual vitas by clicking the View (eye) icon or Print, Word, or PDF hyperlinks under Vita Export.
Regardless of the format a legacy vita is exported in, attachment links will work the same. If you already have access to your institution, clicking an attachment link in any exported legacy vita will allow you to download the attachment. If you’re not signed in, you’ll simply be prompted to log in first. This ensures that sensitive files are only accessible to the right people, while also making the experience of accessing these attachments more consistent.
- Specify the Vita report options. Select the template and academic terms for the report. Select the employment status (Full Time, Part Time, Inactive, Staff, All Active, All Faculty) and assigned unit (Primary, Secondary, Both) for the faculty members. Click Bulk Export when finished.
- Click Select Faculty to use the Faculty Selection Tool to choose faculty to include in the Vita report.
- Select the Document Type (Print, Word, PDF) and click Export to generate your report!
Note that selecting Microsoft Word or PDF format will create a .zip file of all the vitas.
