Manually Add/Edit Course Prefixes
Course prefixes can be added to Faculty Activity Reporting (FAR, Faculty180) on an individual basis, as compared to performing a bulk data upload, at any time. Since FAR organizes courses into academic units based on ownership of the course prefix, the academic unit that owns that prefix must be specified when creating a new course prefix. This information is used in reports to show teaching data on a per-unit basis.
Before creating a new course, the course prefix must be created.
Please note that if for any reason there is an error when adding or editing course prefixes, check out the FAR Error Message Glossary to better explain and clarify possible errors and how to fix them.
