Create and Manage Message Templates

Committee Managers and Administrators can create Message Templates on the Administration page to notify applicants of status changes for positions or applications. For example, a message can inform all applicants when a position's status changes from Accepting Applications to Reviewing Applications, or to notify selected applicants when their status changes from Longlist to Shortlist to schedule interviews.

 

These messages are not automatically sent when a position or application status is changed. Instead, they require confirmation and can be edited as needed before being sent to notify recipients of the status change.

 

Create Message Template

  1. Navigate to the Administration page, select the Message Templates tab, and click the Add button under Templates.

  2. Complete the Add New Message Template form and click Save when finished.

Send messages when updating applicant statuses or updating position statuses, such as transitioning from "Accepting Applications" to "Reviewing Applications" during Multi-Stage and Open Rank Searches. Check out our Message Templates article for sample templates.
