Create and Manage Message Templates

Committee Managers and Administrators can create Message Templates on the Administration page to notify applicants of status changes for positions or applications. For example, a message can inform all applicants when a position's status changes from Accepting Applications to Reviewing Applications, or to notify selected applicants when their status changes from Longlist to Shortlist to schedule interviews.

 

These messages are not automatically sent when changing the position or application status. Messages must be edited or confirmed before being sent to notify of a change in status.

 

Create Message Template

  1. Navigate to the Administration page, select the Message Templates tab, and click the Add button under Templates.
  2. Complete the Add New Message Template form and click Save when finished.

    Messages can be sent when changing an applicant's status or a position's status, especially during a Multi-Stage and Open Rank Searches (e.g. Changing a status from Accepting Applications to Reviewing Applications) Check out our Message Templates article for sample message templates to use.
