Configure Legacy Vitas - Faculty
Legacy Vitas in Faculty Activity Reporting (FAR) allow faculty to generate their CVs, with the standard CV serving as the default template. By default, it includes all sections created by the institution and their activities. Additional templates can be created for various units (e.g., colleges, departments). Biosketches are similar but have mandatory sections that cannot be altered to meet granting agency guidelines. Faculty can choose which items to display, though date ranges are typically locked for compliance. This article explains how to build a Vita using Legacy Vitas.
Configure/Manage Legacy Vitas
Navigate to Vitas & Biosketches > Legacy Vitas. From this page you can Add a new vita or View (Eye), Edit (Pencil), Delete ("X"), or Clone (Square).
View Existing Vita
Click Refresh Vita once the applicable Vita Options are selected to preview the vita.
-
Export/Share: Choose whether to export the vita to Word, PDF, or Dossier, or generate a Web Link. If My Interfolio Dossier is selected the document will be sent to the personal Dossier as a PDF.
Export To: My Interfolio Dossier
This exports the CV as a PDF and sends it to the user's personal Dossier for record-keeping purposes. This is only available to users at institutions with Dossier.
