Respond to a coauthored work addition
Navigate to the coauthor verification action item on the dashboard.
As part of the Scholarly Contributions & Creative Productions functionality, FAR users can include coauthors when adding a new activity. If a FAR user wants to add a specific individual as a coauthor to an activity, a notification message with the Coauthor Verification Type displays in the To Do section on the requested individual's Dashboard. The option of accepting or rejecting the coauthor verification is provided. If accepting the coauthor verification, the option to edit your copy of the activity is available (only your copy of the activity will be changed - the changes will not be made to the other coauthor's copy of the activity). If rejecting the activity, the coauthor who requested to add the activity will not be notified of the rejection.
- Click the Coauthor Verification action item on the Dashboard.
- Click the desired option.
- If Accept is chosen, a pop-up notification will be displayed giving the user the option to edit if necessary.
- If Reject is chosen, a pop-up notification will be displayed for the user to confirm the rejection.
Once a disposition has been confirmed, the action item will disappear and there will not be an opportunity to change the response.
