Replace or Update Letters

Dossier makes it easy to upload an updated version of a letter of recommendation. Only letters requested by an individual can be replaced or updated.

 

Replace or Update Letters

If you'd like us to replace the letter of recommendation on your behalf, please email the new letter to help@interfolio.com. 

To replace the letter yourself, follow the steps below.

 

From the link in the emailed request

  1. Locate the email you received for the request. 
  2. Select Upload Letter.
  3.  Select Replace Letter.

    The Replace Letter button will only appear if the due date has not passed yet.

     
  4. Select the file of the updated letter.
  5. Click Submit when finished.
 
 

By logging into your Dossier account

Navigation: Letters > Letters to Write

  1. Click Letters on the navigation menu.

  2. Select the Letters to Write tab.

  3. Click View Details under the Actions column.
    Due Date shown under Completed Date

    If the due date appears under the Status column, that means the due date has not passed. Once the due date has passed this date will no longer appear under this column.

     
  4. Click Replace Letter to replace the file.

    The Replace Letter button will only appear if the due date has not passed yet.

     
  5. Select the file of the updated letter.
  6. Click Submit when finished.
