Release Notes: April 8, 2026
This release introduces enhancements and fixes across Platform, Faculty Search (FS), Lifecycle Management (LM), Review, Promotion & Tenure (RPT), and Dossier. On Platform, we updated footer links on login and signup pages, and resolved an issue that caused non‑US users to be signed out when accessing applicants in FS and LM. In FS, we expanded the Referral Report to include CA, EU, and APAC regions, providing broader visibility into applicant referral sources. In LM, we resolved an issue where reports were not loading reliably under certain browser conditions, restoring stable access to reporting. In RPT, we fixed multiple issues affecting vita availability, case visibility, notifications, and UI behavior, improving overall case management reliability. In Dossier, we restored the USPS Domestic delivery option for Dossier Deliver subscribers, ensuring access to the standard free domestic mailing option.
Platform
- Enhancement: Updated footer links on the Interfolio login and Dossier signup pages to improve support access and update legal links.
- Fixed: We resolved an issue where users outside of the US were being signed out when navigating to an applicant in FS or LM. Previously, accessing an applicant triggered a cross‑region API call to a US endpoint, resulting in a 401 unauthenticated error and ending the user’s session. This issue has been fixed, so applicant navigation now correctly routes to the appropriate regional endpoint. Users in CA, EU, and APAC regions can access applicant profiles without being signed out, restoring expected functionality for non‑US institutions using FS and LM. This was released as an off-cycle release on 3/19/26.
Faculty Search
- Enhancement: We expanded the FS Referral Report to include APAC, CA, and EU regions, in addition to the existing US region. Previously, the Referral Report—powered by GA4—was only available for US institutions. The Referral Report is now accessible across all supported regions and provides consistent, accurate visibility into applicant referral sources. This enhancement enables institutions to better understand applicant sourcing channels, optimize outreach strategies, and make more data‑driven recruitment decisions across regions.
Lifecycle Management
- Fixed: Multiple users have reported that LM Reports were not loading as expected. This issue has been resolved. Investigation showed this behavior occurred when a user’s browser had cookies disabled, which triggered a cookie-related error after a couple of refreshes and prevented the report's experience from stabilizing. The reports page now handles this scenario more gracefully—preventing the reload loop and surfacing clearer behavior so users can access LM reports reliably (or understand when browser settings are blocking the experience). Moving forward, if cookies are disabled, the report will not load. Otherwise, the report should render.
Review, Promotion & Tenure
- Fixed: We fixed an issue where the FAR2RPT vita was not available to add to a template on the Candidate Requirements page. The FAR vita section is displaying again as expected and users are able to add a FAR2RPT vita to their templates.
- Fixed: We resolved an issue on the Users & Groups page where the Unit Selector was appearing outside of the edit modal when editing the Unit & Roles of a specific user. The Unit Selector now remains in place when taking edit actions.
- Fixed: We resolved an issue where the ‘Read Case’ button did not display on the Case Materials page when only Candidate Forms were included in the candidate’s packet. The ‘Read Case’ button is now available regardless of while files or forms are part of the candidate’s packet.
- Fixed: We fixed an issue where forwarding a case showed a committee member count of zero, which prevented committees from receiving notifications. The committee member count now displays correctly, and committee members receive case notifications as expected.
- Fixed: We fixed an issue where candidate documents were not visible to administrators after submission. Successfully uploaded documents are visible for administrators and committee users again.
- Fixed: We resolved an issue for clients on our Canadian server were experiencing the red "This is a development or test environment" banner in production tenant. The banner is no longer visible.
Dossier
- Fixed: We resolved an issue where the USPS Domestic delivery option was no longer appearing during the Dossier Deliver mail‑delivery workflow for subscribers. Previously, users only saw paid delivery options (2–3 Day and Overnight), even though USPS Domestic delivery is included at no additional cost with a Dossier Deliver subscription. This issue has been fixed, so USPS Domestic delivery is once again available and selectable during the delivery workflow. Subscribers can now access their entitled free domestic mailing option as expected, restoring the standard delivery experience. This was released as an off-cycle release on 04/1/26
