Release Notes: May 6, 2025
This release introduces enhancements to Lifecycle Management (LM) and Faculty Activity Reporting (FAR), improving the performance and reliability of bulk actions and CSV exports for the faculty list, resulting in faster workflows and reduced timeouts. Additionally, bug fixes in FAR ensure accurate faculty names display in both Standard Vitas reports and shareable links, while a guard has been implemented to prevent the archiving or deletion of the standard vita template, ensuring its ongoing availability for institutional use.
Lifecycle Management
- Improved: We have enhanced the performance of CSV exports from the LM faculty list. These improvements increase extraction speeds, reducing the likelihood of timeouts and enabling larger datasets to be successfully exported. Additionally, the team is committed to transitioning the export functionality to a Home Item in the future, which will further support handling larger downloads.
Faculty Activity Reporting
- Fixed: We have fixed a bug that displayed the name of the person emulating the faculty as opposed to the name of the faculty on the header of the vita when viewed individually from the Standard Vitas report.
- Fixed: We have fixed a bug that displayed the name of the person emulating the faculty as opposed to the name of the faculty on the header of vitas created as a shareable link.
- Improved: Because the standard vita template always needs to be available as the basis for new institutional templates, we have implemented a guard that prevents it from being inadvertently archived or deleted.
