Replace or Update Letters

Dossier makes it easy to upload an updated version of a letter of recommendation. There are 3 ways a letter writer can update or replace a letter. 

  1.  Email the new letter to help@interfolio.com. 
  2.  Replace the letter yourself via the link in the original emailed request (instructions below)
  3.  Replace the letter yourself by logging into your Dossier account (instructions below)
 

Replace or Update Letters

From the link in the emailed request

  1. Locate the email you received for the request. 
  2. Select Upload Letter.
  3.  Select Replace Letter.
  4. Select the file of the updated letter.
  5. Click Submit when finished.
 
 

By logging into your Dossier account

Navigation: Letters > Letters to Write

  1. Click Letters on the navigation menu.

  2. Select the Letters to Write tab.

  3. Click View Details under the Actions column.
    Due Date shown under Completed Date

    If the due date appears under the Status column, that means the due date has not passed. Once the due date has passed this date will no longer appear under this column.

     
  4. Click Replace Letter to replace the file.

  5. Select the file of the updated letter.
  6. Click Submit when finished.
