Add the Workload Models Used by Institution

In Lifecycle Management (LM), Administrators can create Workload Models to track workload obligations and expectations of how faculty will spend their working hours. Workload is meant to capture general criteria and guidelines about the dedication to teaching, service, research, administrative, and other responsibilities expected of a person assigned to that model. The user can also establish custom workload elements; activities that make up a workload model such as Teaching, Service, and Research. Workloads are added to the program from the Workload section of the Administration section of the LM Platform. Administrators can also edit and delete workloads from that page.

The terms Workload and Workload Model in this article refer to a customizable, dedicated text label used to record the agreed-upon workload allocation for an individual faculty member. An organization may have replaced the term Workload as part of the customization of the LM platform, but the steps for entering and managing workloads will appear.
