Release Notes: February 4, 2026
This release introduces fixes across Faculty Search (FS) and Review, Promotion & Tenure (RPT). In FS, annotation reliability is restored, ensuring annotations save automatically and persist across document navigation, with related errors resolved in both FS and RPT. In RPT, Case Managers and Template Administrators with broad unit access can again load case and template lists without encountering server errors, and committee forms now appear with the expected hyperlinks in Case Materials.
Faculty Search
- Fixed: We addressed an issue where annotations within our reader were not automatically saved when navigating away from the document. Previously, annotations would disappear from the annotation panel, and users saw multiple “ActiveModel::ForbiddenAttributesError” messages upon returning to the profile. With this fix, annotations are now automatically saved and persist correctly across document navigation, ensuring a smoother and more reliable annotation experience. This fix was corrected in FS and RPT.
Review, Promotion & Tenure
- Fixed: We resolved an issue where Case Managers with access to many units were unable to view the case list successfully and received an ‘Oops! A server error has occurred. Sorry' after some time. This issue was additionally impacting Template Administrators when attempting to access the Templates list. Access to both lists for these users is restored post release.
- Fixed: We fixed an issue where committee forms were missing the hyperlink on the Case Materials page. When a user viewed Case Materials, the committee forms were still accessible, though the appearance of the forms did not show hyperlinked. The view of committee forms as hyperlinked is now restored.
