All
- Enhancement: A new cookie banner will be introduced to the Interfolio product suite within the US region. This banner is designed to enhance user browsing experience by providing clear information about our use of cookies and to allow users to manage cookie preferences easily. For more information on our use of Cookies please refer to our Cookie Notice page.
FS
- Enhancement: We have improved the position creation workflow in Faculty Search by allowing users to set the required number of documents to zero when initially adding a document requirement. This enhancement simplifies the process, eliminates the need to add and then edit document quantities, and removes the necessity for a separate section for optional documents, resulting in a more intuitive and efficient user experience.
LM
- Enhancement: We implemented a safeguard in Lifecycle Management that prevents deletion of journeys associated with timelines. This ensures that related events remain editable and avoids disruption caused by deleting linked journeys.
- Fixed: We fixed an issue where editing faculty profile details through the UI was blocked by a validation requiring the hire date to be before or the same as the appointment start date. This validation has now been removed, allowing users to update profile details without restrictions related to hire date and appointment start date.
- Fixed: We addressed an issue where certain custom terminology appeared duplicated across tenants in Lifecycle Management. The identified instances have been corrected, and additional safeguards have been implemented to prevent this duplication from occurring in the future.
RPT
-
Enhancement: We have updated the tooltip texts on the Lock/Unlock button for Candidate Sections to ensure they accurately reflect the current state and provide clear guidance to users:
- When the section is UNLOCKED (Lock button displayed): “Candidate editing is enabled. The candidate can add, edit or submit materials for this section. Click the lock button to disable candidate editing.”
- When the section is LOCKED (Unlock button displayed): “Candidate editing is disabled. The candidate cannot add, edit or submit materials for this section. Click the unlock button to enable candidate editing.”
Web Profiles
-
Enhancement: We have improved the deduplication process for scholarship records displayed on Web Profiles. Previously, all imported records were deduplicated over several days (and up to a week), and merged records could not be updated via changes from Faculty Activity Reporting (FAR). Now, Web Profiles poll FAR daily to identify and merge duplicate records, selecting the most complete version as the target. Field-level logic determines what is shown on the web profile based on majority consensus. The web profile will reflect the Scopus version of any record successfully matched from FAR (this includes the following content types: journal article, book, book chapter, conference proceeding).
- If any of the detected duplicates has opted not to show the record publicly, the record will be hidden from the Web Profile. As with the current implementation, a 24-hour window ensures all changes made within the day are considered when identifying possible duplicates. From there, additional deduplication will continue in Pure over several days, and up to a week. For non-Scopus content types, coauthors are encouraged to align on display preferences to ensure consistency.
- These changes will be rolled out to every institution separately; your Project Manager will communicate the changes ahead of time.
