Save and Publish a Draft of an Institutional Vita Template

Administrators are able to create and edit drafts of vita templates. When a vita template is ready, it can be published and made available for faculty to use. This article explains how the draft and publish feature works.

After creating a template, users can either publish it or save it as a draft and publish it later. Drafted templates are only available to faculty users once they have been published.

-  The Templates list displays the status of templates.

-  Draft templates will appear on the template list marked as a Draft. The status of Draft indicates the template is not available for faculty users until an administrator publishes them.

-  Published templates will appear in the list marked as Published. The status of Published indicates the template is available to use.

For a complete explanation of the new process of drafting, saving, and publishing templates see our article on how to Create Institutional Vita Templates.
